Mobile Responsive

All UConn Now pages are designed to be Mobile Responsive and to have a similar look and feel to increase the users’ comfort and confidence using them.  This is accomplished by using Bootstrap which is described as “is the most popular HTML, CSS, and JS framework for developing responsive, mobile first projects on the web.”  The Bootstrap files are located in the /extlib directory on the php servers.  The current version of bootstrap is located in the bootstrap-3.3.5-dist directory.

Occasionally there is a need to utilize bootstrap library extensions.  As with the use of the Bootstrap framework itself, it is expected that developers will use this common set of extensions to increase the users’ comfort and confidence using them as well as minimizing administrative overhead for the IT staff.  The bootstrap extensions are located in the /extensions folder in the bootstrap directory.
