Configuring FAMIS Dashboard development database connection

1.  Click on small green plus button  in the Connections pane to the left:
   
   
2. A window named New / Select Database Connection will appear:
   
   
3. Configuring FAMIS Dashboard development database connection using following settings:
   • Connection Name: FAMIS_DASHBOARD_DEV
   • Username: famis_dashboard
   • Password: please ask FAMIS staff for password
   • Hostname: dbserver02.uits.uconn.edu
   • Port: 1521
   • SID: famisd

   

4. Click on Test to test the connection and check connection status:
   
   
5. If the status is Success, click on Save to save the connection. The connection should appear in the pane to the left now:
6. If the status is not Success, ask FAMIS staff for help.
7. Configuring and save FAMIS Dashboard test database connection using following settings:
   • Connection Name: FAMIS_DASHBOARD_TEST
   • Username: famis_dashboard
   • Password: please ask FAMIS staff for password
   • Hostname: dbserver02.uits.uconn.edu
   • Port: 1521
   • SID: famist

   

8. Configuring and save FAMIS Shadow development database connection using following settings:
   • Connection Name: FAMIS_SHADOW_DEV
   • Username: famis_shadow
   • Password: please ask FAMIS staff for password
   • Hostname: dbserver02.uits.uconn.edu
   • Port: 1521
   • SID: famisd

   

9. Configuring and save FAMIS Shadow test database connection using following settings:
   • Connection Name: FAMIS_SHADOW_TEST
   • Username: famis_shadow
   • Password: please ask FAMIS staff for password
   • Hostname: dbserver02.uits.uconn.edu
   • Port: 1521
   • SID: famist
